Daucol belongs to the family of sesquiterpene alcohols or sesquiterpenols and diterpenols and is therefore recognized for having the following properties:
- Phlebotonic and lymphotonic
- Narrow-spectrum anti-infectious
For this family of molecules, there is little to no toxicity at usual doses.
