Production
Harvest
Native to Asia, the carrot is a herbaceous plant that has become established in all temperate regions of the world and is prized for the culinary qualities of its roots. Its seeds are rich in essential oils. It is in the west and south of France, a major carrot-producing country, that the main plantations dedicated to seed production are located.
Manufacturing
The seeds are steam-distilled to produce our carrot seed essential oil, at our production site in Provence.
