Production
Harvest
Originating from Southeast Asia, ginger is cultivated in most tropical regions. It is a perennial herbaceous plant reaching about 0.90 meters in height, and its rhizome is used as a spice in various Asian cuisines.
Manufacturing
The harvest takes place between June and July. Distillation is carried out using dried rhizomes. Landema sources its ginger from the Central-East region of Madagascar.

Ginger essential oil has a spicy, slightly lemony flavor, and can be used as an edible essential oil in cooking or in the creation of foodstuffs:
- Savory dishes: Essential in curries, Asian soups and marinades for a spicy flavor.
- Beverages: Used in chai teas, infusions, and smoothies for a spicy, warming touch.
