Benzyl acetate

Benzyl acetate is part of the terpene ester family and is therefore recognized for having the following properties:

• Neurotropic antispasmodic
• Calming and sedative
• Antihypertensive
• Anti-inflammatory
• Analgesic

At therapeutic doses, terpene esters do not present toxicity. However, please ensure to dilute highly concentrated essential oils containing terpene esters for cutaneous administration over a long period and on very sensitive skin.

• Ylang-Ylang complete (Cananga odorata)
