Production
Harvest
Originating and cultivated in the Philippines, south of Manila, elemi is a resin produced by the tree of the same name. The tree is exploited by making an incision in the bark to extract a thin strip each day between July and November. It takes approximately seven years for the tree to produce substantial amounts of resin, which is then collected on a weekly basis.
Manufacturing
Landema sources its raw materials from a partner in the Philippines to produce this elemi essential oil. The distillation of the resin is carried out in our production facility in France.
