Production
Harvest
The distillation of lavender dates back over 150 years, and its essential oil has played a crucial role in the history of perfumery, particularly in the formulation of the famous "eaux de Cologne." Originally gathered wild from the high plateaus of Provence, lavender has been cultivated with various varieties to adapt to different climates and altitudes. Today, the main producing countries are Bulgaria, France, Eastern Europe, and China.
Manufacturing
Landema sources lavender essential oil from a selected Spanish producer known for the quality of their cultivation and distillation methods. The plants are carefully grown and harvested at maturity to ensure the richness of the essential oil.
