Harvest
Lavender, originally harvested in the wild on the high plateaus of Provence, is now cultivated, and different varieties have been created to adapt to various climates and altitudes. Lavender has been distilled for over 150 years, and lavender oil has played a key role in the history of perfumery, particularly in the formulation of 'eaux de Cologne.' The essential oil of fine lavender comes from population lavender crops, thus preserving the richness and subtlety of the original wild lavender.
