Harvest
Arnica montana, a perennial herb from the Asteraceae family, primarily grows in alpine and subalpine pastures at altitudes above 800 meters. Well-suited to acidic, well-drained soils, it thrives in cold, mountainous terrains. The harvesting of arnica is delicate and must be done manually to preserve the plant's integrity. However, due to the expansion of agricultural land, arnica is increasingly threatened, and collection sites are becoming rare. That is why we are committed to preserving this plant by promoting responsible and sustainable cultivation, in partnership with local cooperatives and farmers who adhere to ecological farming practices.
Manufacturing
Our organic arnica macerate in sunflower oil is the result of an extraction process carried out in France. The flowering aerial parts of the arnica are carefully harvested and macerated in high-quality sunflower oil to extract all the active compounds of the plant. This process ensures a macerate rich in natural active ingredients while preserving the integrity of the plant.
This macerate is then tested and packaged in our workshops in France.
