Lentisque (Mastic) ORG
Description
The Pistacia lentiscus, or mastic tree, is an evergreen shrub related to the pistachio. Our essential oil, extracted from the branches of the mastic tree in the Rif region of northern Morocco, is highly valued in perfumery for its fresh, terpenic, slightly woody, and resinous notes. Ideal for adding cypress nuances to the base, it is perfectly suited for masculine fougère-type fragrances and colognes.
Note: For technical reasons, the vial used for the 1mL packaging has a capacity of approximately 4mL, so it is normal for it to appear about one-quarter full. The packaging is carried out using precise and calibrated laboratory equipment.

Harvest
The plant Pistacia lentiscus, also known as "lentisk," is an evergreen shrub closely related to the pistachio tree. Its name comes from its resin, traditionally harvested in Greece and used for medicinal purposes and as a flavoring agent.
Manufacturing
We select lentisk from the Rif region in northern Morocco to produce its essential oil. Sustainable harvesting is practiced to preserve the resource: only a few branches per plant are collected. This method ensures environmentally respectful exploitation.
