Harvest
Originally from Asia Minor, the bitter orange tree, or Seville orange, is a tree that was introduced and planted throughout the Mediterranean Europe by the Arabs in the 9th century. Its many rich and varied extracts are used in perfumery, flavoring, and cosmetics. This tree is cultivated for its flowers, which are the source of a wide range of products: essential oil, absolute, orange flower water, but also for its fruits used to produce English marmalade and flavor Grand Marnier, and its leaves to produce petitgrain essence. The essential oil derived from the flowers is commonly known as neroli.
Manufacturing
It is in Morocco, on our organic farm, that we cultivate bitter orange trees to produce the entire range of these products.
