Production
Harvest
Native to Asia Minor, the bitter orange tree, or Seville orange, was introduced and planted throughout Mediterranean Europe by the Arabs in the 9th century. Its rich and varied extracts are widely used in perfumery, flavors, and cosmetics. This tree is cultivated for its flowers, which are the source of a wide range of products: orange blossom essential oil (Neroli), orange blossom absolute, orange blossom water, as well as for its fruits used to produce English marmalade and flavor Grand Marnier, and its leaves for the production of petitgrain bigarade essential oil.

We cultivate organic bitter orange trees on our organic farm in Morocco, where we sustainably and traceably produce a complete range of orange blossom-derived products, including orange blossom essential oil (Neroli) and Petitgrain Bigarade essential oil (from the leaves).
