This product has a solid or pasty texture. To facilitate its use, gentle heating is recommended depending on its consistency:
•    For solidified or hard products, gentle warming in a water bath, placing the container in a temperate environment (such as near a mild heat source), or holding it in your hands to benefit from body heat can help liquefy or soften it.
•    For pasty products or those that are difficult to handle at room temperature, you can either heat them slightly (e.g., in a water bath or dry oven) or use them directly with suitable utensils, such as spatulas.
Avoid exposing the product to high temperatures (do not exceed 40°C) to preserve all its natural properties. Once warmed or prepared, ensure you use clean utensils for transferring or applying it.

Production

Harvest

Belonging to the Poaceae family, sweet vernal is a grass that grows wild in the meadows of most temperate regions around the world. It contains a high concentration of coumarin, which gives it its characteristic hay-like scent.

Manufacturing

We have developed a partnership with farmers in the Landes region of south-west France to specifically cultivate fields of sweet vernal grass to create a 100% Made in Landes extract of the highest quality. Extraction is carried out locally, at our main production site in Le Sen. All batches are controlled and packaged in our laboratory on the same site.

The natural TEC carrier has been selected and dosed by our R&D team for optimal use. TEC stands for Triethyl citrate: it's a natural ester from citric acid, generally obtained by extracting citrus fruits with natural ethanol. It's an excellent dilution medium, odorless and stable. We use food-grade triethyl citrate so that our sweet vernal grass extract can be used both perfumery and natural flavoring.

Application

Main areas of application :

Perfumery Flavor - Food

Pictogram Perfumery Perfumery

Sweet vernal grass is used in fine perfumery because it imparts a very strong herbaceous scent with "gourmand" facets reminiscent of honey and gingerbread. Its airy and long-lasting effects allow for harmonious combinations with opulent floral notes such as jasmine and orange blossom.

Pictogram Food - Flavor Food - Flavor

Sweet vernal grass brings a fruity, gourmet hay taste, also reminiscent of Tonka bean. Its aroma goes very well with chocolate. It's an excellent alternative to Tonka bean, much more local, since it's 100% grown and extracted in France, in the Landes region. It works very well in pastry, but also for original flavors in gastronomy. Creators beware !
