Our ultra-concentrated natural extract of Organic Signature Bourbon Vanilla is highly prized in gastronomy, perfumery and cosmetics. We harvest, select and dry the beans on our farm in Madagascar, in partnership with rigorously selected local cooperatives. The final vanilla extract is made in our production unit in Le Sen, Landes, using a minimum of 5kg of vanilla beans for 1kg of extract, then controlled in our laboratory on the same site. Final packaging and shipping are also carried out directly on our production site.
This Bourbon Vanilla extract is pure, without carrier (the bio-ethanol is evaporated), in the form of a dense, highly intense aromatic paste. Contains up to 15% natural vanillin. This is the equivalent of "50 fold" quality, i.e. 50 times the minimum required for the "Extrait naturel de vanille" appellation, and therefore ultra-concentrated (see Production tab for further explanation). A product of rare quality, part of our "Signature" range.

Our ultra-concentrated Organic Bourbon Vanilla Signature natural extract is highly sought after in gastronomy, perfumery, and cosmetics. We oversee the harvesting, selection, and drying of the vanilla beans on our farm in Madagascar, in partnership with rigorously selected local cooperatives. The final vanilla extract is produced in our facility in Le Sen, Landes, using a minimum of 5 kg of vanilla beans per 1 kg of extract, then tested in our on-site laboratory. The final packaging and shipping are also carried out directly at our production site.
This Bourbon Vanilla extract is pure, with no carrier (the organic ethanol is evaporated), and comes in a dense, highly aromatic paste form. It contains up to 15% natural vanillin and is equivalent to a "50-fold" quality—meaning it is 50 times more concentrated than the minimum required for the "Natural Vanilla Extract" designation (see the Production tab for more details). A rare and exceptional product that is part of our Signature range.
This product has a pasty texture. To facilitate its use, gentle heating is recommended depending on its consistency:
• For pasty products or those that are difficult to handle at room temperature, you can either heat them slightly (e.g., in a water bath or dry oven) or use them directly with suitable utensils, such as spatulas.
Avoid exposing the product to high temperatures (do not exceed 40°C) to preserve all its natural properties. Once warmed or prepared, ensure you use clean utensils for transferring or applying it.

Production
Harvest
Originating in Mexico, vanilla is an orchid whose cultivation gradually spread to several tropical countries, becoming the most universally appreciated spice. Madagascar is now the world's leading producer of Vanilla planifolia beans, and its "Bourbon" quality is the most prized.
We have two certified organic farms and distilleries in Madagascar to guarantee sustainable and responsible sourcing, and ensure traceability and quality from field to bottle.
Manufacturing
We source certified organic green vanilla beans from our Madagascan subsidiary in Ambanja, and transform them into black vanilla using the traditional scalding and drying process that allows the aromas to develop. The black pods are then extracted with organic ethanol at our plant in Les Landes, France, to produce this exceptional absolute.
The final vanilla extract is made with a minimum of 5kg of vanilla beans for 1kg of final extract, then controlled in our laboratory on the same site. This corresponds to "50 fold" quality, a concentration of pure vanilla of the highest quality. The ethanol is completely evaporated, leaving a dense, intense, pure paste with up to 15% natural vanillin.
What does "1 fold" mean?
1 fold is a quality defined by the American FDA (Federal Drug Administration): it corresponds to the use of 100g of vanilla beans per liter of solvent (13.35oz per gallon). This is the standard quality of most "pure" natural vanilla extracts. Our signature organic vanilla absolute therefore contains more than 50 times the standard concentration. This level of quality and intensity, combined with sustainable and responsible cultivation and production, makes it an exceptional extract, appreciated by the most demanding perfumers, formulators, flavourists and creators.
