Originally from Mexico, vanilla is an orchid whose cultivation has gradually spread to several tropical countries, becoming the most universally appreciated spice. Madagascar is currently the world's leading producer of Vanilla planifolia pods, and its 'Bourbon' quality is the most sought after.

Manufacturing

We purchase certified organic green vanilla pods from our Malagasy subsidiary located in Ambanja to transform them into black vanilla using the traditional scalding and drying process that allows the development of their aromas. The black pods are then extracted with organic alcohol at our factory in Landes to produce this exceptional absolute.
