Para-cymene
Para-cymene is part of the terpenes or monoterpenes family and is therefore recognized for having the following properties:

In its pure state, an essential oil mainly composed of terpenes or monoterpenes can cause irritations, the intensity of which depends on the patient's skin sensitivity. This irritation can be relieved by the local application of vegetable oil. Essential oils of turpentine and juniper can cause inflammation in the kidney in patients with kidney insufficiency.
Para-cymene is a molecule present in the following essential oils:
- Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus globulus)
- Oregano green (Origanum vulgare)
- Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)
- Thyme thymol (Thymus vulgaris)
- Winter savory (Satureja montana)
