This irritation can be relieved by the local application of vegetable oil. Essential oils of turpentine and juniper can cause inflammation in the kidney in patients with kidney insufficiency.
Camphene is a molecule present in the following essential oils:
- Armoise (Artemisia herba-alba)
- Black spruce (Picea mariana)
- Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
- Rosemary camphor (Rosmarinus officinalis)
- Rosemary verbenon (Rosmarinus officinalis)
