Our organic cistus essential oil is traced and documented, sourced from sustainable supply chains. Purchase directly from the manufacturer for a mindful buying experience.
This product has a solid, pasty, or butter-like texture. To facilitate its use, gentle heating is recommended depending on its consistency:
• For solidified or hard products, gentle warming in a water bath, placing the container in a temperate environment (such as near a mild heat source), or holding it in your hands to benefit from body heat can help liquefy or soften it.
• For pasty products or those that are difficult to handle at room temperature, you can either heat them slightly (e.g., in a water bath or dry oven) or use them directly with suitable utensils, such as spatulas.
Avoid exposing the product to high temperatures (do not exceed 40°C) to preserve all its natural properties. Once warmed or prepared, ensure you use clean utensils for transferring or applying it.
Note: For technical reasons, the vial used for the 1mL packaging has a capacity of approximately 4mL, so it is normal for it to appear about one-quarter full. The packaging is carried out using precise and calibrated laboratory equipment.

Production
Harvest
In a vast region of the Mediterranean basin, the Cistus Labdanum grows wild. This remarkable shrub secretes resin in the summer to protect itself from evaporation during episodes of intense heat. Mainly harvested in southern Spain, the branches of the cistus are distilled or extracted to produce a wide variety of extracts.
Manufacturing
The essential oil is produced in our factory in Spain through direct steam distillation of the branches.
