Harvest
Created in France to obtain a plant with lavender scents and a higher essential oil yield, lavandin is a hybrid of officinal lavender and spike lavender. Its scent is less floral and more aromatic than that of lavender. There are four varieties in France, and Grosso is the most cultivated.

The most representative of Lavandin essential oils is that of Lavandin Grosso, used in all perfuming techniques, especially in masculine fern or woody accords. Providing freshness, a very classic and playful linalyl note, it is rich in camphor and borneol.
Cosmetics
The extracts of Lavandin Grosso are incorporated into the formulation of cosmetic products intended for irritated and damaged skin. Lavandin essential oils blend well with oils or emulsions.

A utiliser en diffusion, de préférence à froid, à l'aide d'un appareil approprié. Diffuser sur des durées n'excédant pas 20 minutes. Ne pas diffuser dans une chambre pendant la demi-heure précédant le coucher ou pendant le sommeil. Assurer une bonne aération et ne pas diffuser dans des espaces confinés non ventilés. Ne respirer pas les huiles essentielles au-dessus de l’appareil de diffusion. Ne pas ingérer ni utiliser en application sur la peau. Tenir hors de portée des enfants. Ne pas utiliser pour les enfants de moins de 7 ans, les femmes enceintes et allaitantes, les personnes ayant des antécédents de troubles épileptiques ou convulsifs ainsi que chez les personnes asthmatiques ou allergiques aux huiles essentielles et extraits de plantes.
