Vanilla planifolia
Our concentrated natural extract of Organic Bourbon Vanilla "10 fold" is highly prized in gastronomy and cosmetics. Harvested in Madagascar and manufactured in our production unit in France. Guaranteed quality and origin.
Description
Our "10 fold" natural extract of Organic Bourbon Vanilla Extra is highly prized in gastronomy, perfumery and cosmetics. We harvest, select and dry the beans on our farm in Madagascar, in partnership with rigorously selected local cooperatives. The final vanilla extract is made in our production unit in Le Sen, Landes, using a minimum of 1kg of vanilla beans for 1kg of extract, then controlled in our laboratory on the same site. Final packaging and shipping are also carried out directly on our production site.
This Bourbon Vanilla extract is diluted with 35% organic Ethanol to facilitate processing, while remaining a 100% natural and organic extract, with intense aromas. It's a "10 fold" quality, i.e. 10 times the standard quality required for the appellation "Extrait naturel de vanille", very rich and concentrated (see Production tab for more explanations). Most natural vanilla extracts on the market are "1 fold" or "2 fold", and often diluted with syrup and/or water. Our extract contains 10 times the standard concentration. Just a few drops are enough to replace a vanilla bean in preparations. A 10mL bottle contains around 350 drops, preserves much better and costs less, while delivering exactly the same or even better taste than beans, with a more intense flavor and consistent quality.

Production
Harvest
Vanilla, a precious orchid native to Mexico, has spread throughout the world to become the most prized spice. Today, Madagascar stands out as the world's leading producer of Vanilla planifolia beans, renowned for its "Bourbon" quality, unlike any other origin in the world. We source our vanilla beans from rigorously selected local certified organic producers, close to our Malagasy distillery in Ambanja, in the heart of the famous vanilla triangle in northeast Madagascar. Total traceability and guaranteed quality from field to bottle.
Manufacturing
The final vanilla extract is made in our production unit in Le Sen, Landes, using a minimum of 1kg of vanilla pods for 1kg of organic ethanol, then controlled in our laboratory on the same site. This corresponds to "10 fold" quality, a concentration of pure vanilla of the highest quality.
What does "10 fold" mean?
1 fold is a quality defined by the American FDA (Federal Drug Administration): it corresponds to the use of 100g of vanilla beans per liter of solvent (13.35oz per gallon). This is the standard quality of most "pure" natural vanilla extracts. Our "10 fold" organic vanilla extract contains 10 times the standard concentration. Just a few drops are enough to replace a vanilla bean in preparations.
This Bourbon Vanilla extract is diluted with 35% organic Ethanol to facilitate processing and conservation, while remaining 100% natural and organic. It's a cost-effective way to recover the intense natural flavor of pure vanilla beans, with consistent quality and optimum shelf life.

Application
Main areas of application :
Cosmetic Perfumery Flavor - FoodCosmetics
Vanilla extract is a valuable ingredient in the cosmetic industry, especially in the formulation of facial and body care products. This extract can also be used in a variety of cosmetic products, such as care oils, scented bath oils, after-sun oils, massage oils, and nourishing body oils.
Food flavor
Our organic Bourbon vanilla extract from Madagascar supports cocoa, vanilla, coffee or praline notes and rounds out fruity or dried fruit flavors. With its authentic note, it can be used to flavor or enhance the taste of patisserie, bakery products, ice creams, sweets, cookies, dairy products and beverages. Pure vanilla absolute is highly concentrated, viscous and even solid. Dilution with 35% organic ethanol facilitates processing, while keeping the product 100% natural and intense. Quality is "10 fold", with 1kg of organic Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans per 1kg of extract. The ethanol evaporates very quickly, giving way to the intense scent and taste of 100% natural vanilla beans. Just a few drops are enough to replace a vanilla bean, making this a very practical and economical extract.
Perfumery
In fine fragrances, this extract of Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar confers gourmand notes reminiscent of crêpes and French pastries, with nuances of lively rum. Pure vanilla absolute (available elsewhere) is highly concentrated, viscous and even solid. Dilution with 35% organic ethanol makes it easy to use, while keeping the product 100% natural and intense.
