Cineole 1,8 (Eucalyptol)
Cineole 1,8 (Eucalyptol) belongs to the family of terpene oxides and is therefore recognized for having the following properties:

- Immunomodulatory
- Neurotonic
Cineole 1,8 (Eucalyptol) is also recognized as an immunomodulator.
At high doses, molecules of this family are considered convulsant for children, regardless of the route of administration. Cineole 1,8 (Eucalyptol) from a rectified essential oil or lower-quality source irritates the respiratory tract. It can also suddenly cause asthmatic respiratory discomfort in asthmatic patients.
