Production
Harvest
The cinnamon tree, originally from the island of Ceylon (Sri Lanka), saw its cultivation spread to all countries in the Indian Ocean from the 19th century onwards. Madagascar is now a significant producer of this spice.
Manufacturing
Landema offers this cinnamon bark essential oil by sourcing from a longstanding partner located on the East Coast of Madagascar, near the plantations. The selection of a specific quality of bark is made for distillation.

Cinnamon essential oil has a warm, spicy flavor, and can be used as an edible essential oil in cooking or in the creation of foodstuffs:
- Baked goods: Indispensable in gingerbread, apple pie and cinnamon rolls, it brings warmth and comfort.
- Hot drinks: Perfect for mulled wine, mulled cider or spiced teas, it adds spicy depth.
- Sauces: Ideal in sauces for simmered dishes, adding a warm, spicy note.
